Hip, hip hooray, its Saturday!  Whew, this week was a long one!  I don’t know about you, but sometimes I just need a little toast to myself for making it through the week! Crystal and I both love our coffee, (who doesn’t) but sometimes, life deserves a little bubbly!  I love classic mimosas but every now and then I like to mix it up with a little twist.  I thought some other moms, friends of moms may like a few ideas on how to shake things up and add a little twist to your classic mimosa.

Strawberry Grapefruit

Instead of OJ mix together some grapefruit juice with a few sliced, fresh strawberries, then add that mixture to your bubbly for a fun pink colored mimosa. This may be the perfect little touch to a bridal or baby girl baby shower.

Cranberry Mimosa

A little Prosecco a little cranberry juice, you’re all set!  Float some fresh cranberries in as a sweet little garnish!

Peach Mimosas

Okay, so I haven’t tried them yet, but these peach mimosas by BBritnell sound great, I think I am bringing them to the next girls brunch!  Maybe I should make a test batch first though haha!

Dreamsicle Mimosas

Mix about 1/2 cups of orange juice with 2 ounces of a marshmallow flavored vodka.  Pour the mixture into your glasses (should make 2 or 3 depending on how strong you want your drink) then top with champs!

Ginger Mimosas

OMG, recently Crystal and I had delicious ginger mimosas when we were at a local spot, they were great!  I have yet to make my own since then, but this recipe from Club Soda will be made soon!

Orange Pineapple Mimosas

This is one of my favorites, mix 2 parts orange juice with 1 part pineapple juice (or buy orange pineapple juice in a carton) then add your bubbles! Add in a little grenadine for a fun look!

Another fun way to mix up your classic mimosa is to create fruit juice ice cubes and float them in your champagne or prosecco for a fun, festive look!  Do this with any flavor juice you like.  When making a mimosa, many people like to mix two parts champagne or prosecco to one part juice, but you should play around and see what ratio you like best!

Cheers to you momma (and friends) you rocked this week and you deserve a toast to you!  Grab yourself some yummy brunch foods and a mimosa and remember, you are a rock star!

Peace &I love,
